Olivers Creek Retreat, Tyabb

Imagine a cosy country cottage, gorgeous gardens, alpacas lazily grazing in their paddocks, stunning views of bushland, rolling pastures, and Western Port Bay, where you are the only guests. Just 55 minutes from Melbourne, on the Mornington Peninsula you will find this and more at Olivers Creek Retreat a property of 3.5 acres, located in the Western Port region of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula at Tyabb. Relax and unwind in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of your own luxury 4 1/2 star AAAT rated cottage, nestled in the magnificent gardens. After your gourmet breakfast you may feel the need for some light exercise. Olivers Creek Bushland Reserve, located at the entrance to the property, has some very pleasant walking trails, native flora and fauna. You may prefer to laze in a hammock on your verandah, soak in the spa on the patio, cook up a barbecue from local produce on the patio, or wander around the gardens and property. Our resident alpacas are inquisitive, gentle, sweet natured animals. They can be quite timid and startle easily. We have Alpaca yarn spun into 8ply balls available for sale along with other craft items. The cottage is set away from the house and guest privacy is assured. Ideally the cottage is a luxury retreat accommodating just 1 couple, but 2 couples travelling together can be accommodated comfortably for short stays. Here you can be as private or as friendly as you like – the choice is yours. The property is an adult only retreat. The cottage is a romantic and secluded getaway for couples, and offers easy access to all that the peninsula has to offer – antiques, wineries, restaurants, beaches, golf, walking, galleries, craft markets, local produce and picturesque drives along the coast and through the hinterland.

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
