Grelco Run, The, Brimpaen

“The Grelco Run” – a 1,000 acre playground designed to meet your every need for a relaxing stay-away. Situated in the Northwest “sunny side” of the Grampians this wilderness escape is away from the hustle and bustle of Halls G and boasts two modern self-contained cottages sleeping six and five, plus a Homestead with three ensuited bedrooms. “The Grelco Run” is home to the renowned Grampians Horse Riding Centre – choose from our quality horses to go exploring this inspiring estate. If horse riding is not your thing, then mountain bikes are available, or you may choose to take a walk through the bush and explore. This is one of the largest parcels of privately owned forest left in Western Victoria and has over 120 species of birds (some rare), wildflowers, and an abundance of Kangaroos, wallabies, possums, goannas, echidnas, antichinas, and emus. So much so, that one guest remarked “this place is like a zoo! …totally wild”. “The Grelco Run” is situated in the Wartook Valley and only a very short distance from McKenzies Falls, Reids Lookout, The Balconies, Zumsteins, Hollow Mountain and various Aboriginal art sites. We can also advise on tracks for 4×4 driving, the best spots for fishing and bird-watching. All this will give you a wonderful “Grampians Experience”.
