Comfort Inn Shamrock Hotel, Bendigo

For over 100 years The Shamrock has presided majestically over the heart of Bendigo. Its five stories of grandeur offer entertainment, great dining and accommodation in the true ‘Spirit of Bendigo’.

While the exterior and the great dimensions of the public rooms are pure 19th century, there is a distinctively Australian feel to its wide encircling verandah – an ideal spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Your accommodation choices at The Shamrock ranges from suites with comfortable private lounge areas and spa baths, to en suite rooms and traditional country hotel rooms with nearby bathrooms, all are tastefully furnished, with fine quality linen, and include fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV, radio, ISD/STD phone, alarm clock and personally controlled air conditioning and heating.

When you venture out into our grand lounges, you can make you entrance either down the grand staircase, or more discreetly in our modern lift. If you have arrived by car, you will also appreciate the adjacent secure, undercover multi storey car-park available to our guests. The Shamrock cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday, breakfast and lunch Sunday and the ambience is smart casual. The Shamrock cafe features fresh local produce and a selection of the great wines from the Bendigo region. The Comfort Inn Shamrock Hotel has a number of small dining rooms that are ideal for special occasion celebrations or business lunches. Coffee and snacks are available in Diamond Lil’s Gaming Room all hours.

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
