Harrowfield House is a romantic 1890’s self-contained three bedroom Victorian cottage retaining many period features and centrally located in Ballarat. Period features include high pressed steel ceilings, wood fire, brass beds, leadlight and bay windows and modern features include double spa and central gas heating. Harrowfield is ideally suited to a romantic getaway or a family holiday. Other facilities include two queen size brass beds, off street parking, modern kitchen with microwave, electric ovens, dishwasher, laundry with washing machine and drier, bathroom with double spa, lounge room with wood fire, video recorder, television, DVD, CD player and 1894 pedal church organ. The property also includes a library/office with XP Computer and free broardband access There is access to off street garage parking and the rear yard is fully fenced to suit young children or pets (Pets are permitted in the backyard but are not allowed in the house under local Health Department by laws.). A breakfast basket is available as an option in the nightly tariff Harrowfield is within walking distance of shops, public transport, churches, schools, Lake Wendouree, parks, bowling club and Botanic Gardens. A short drive gets you to swimming pools, icerink (in season), spa baths, golf courses, tennis, squash, badminton, royal tennis courts, harness racing, dog racing, hospitals, Ballarat CBD and all the City’s many quality tourist attractions such as Sovereign Hill, Ballarat Wildlife Park and Ballarat Fine Art gallery Ballarat provides good access to many wineries, Daylesford, Grampians National Park, Great Ocean Road, Bendigo, Melbourne and Geelong. Harrowfield is also serviced by the “go2000.com” courtesy bus for 90 minute, half and full day tours round the Ballarat region including, gardens, wineries, the old gold towns, Daylesford, Grampians, Great Ocean Road, Geelong and Melbourne including transfers to some Melbourne football matches, Melbourne Cup and other special events such as the Commonwealth Games.
