Morning Star Estate, Mount Eliza

With a colourful and indeed intriguing background, dating back to 1867, Morning Star Estate is a rural property on the Eastern Shore of Port Philip Bay, situated between Mt Eliza and Mornington. The flagship of our Estate is the four star 20 room Private Hotel that opened early January 2002. Having been the ‘dormitory’ accommodation of the original Morning Star Boys Training Farm dating back to 1936, the rooms are undersized compared with other 4 star establishments. However, a magnificent makeover has been completed to provide unique and unparalleled Accommodation and Corporate Conference facilities on the Mornington Peninsula. Rooms start at $150.00. * The Estate Restaurant open daily * Morning tea, Lunch, Afternoon tea from 10am * Breakfast Saturdays & Sundays from 9am * Dinner Fridays & Saturdays only from 6pm * Wine Tasting & Cellar Door Sales 11am – 4 pm Saturday & Sunday * Renowned Gardens & Bay Views * Conference facilities * Function rooms – some with breathtaking views * Wedding venue

Where Are Australia's Best Beaches?

Australia's Best Beaches

Australia has miles and miles of shoreline but which beaches are really great? Ultimately it depends on what you're looking for in a beach. Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
