Motel Northview, Mackay

The Northview Motel is situated on the north side of Mackay and is the last motel on the Bruce Highway before Proserpine. The motel is in an ideal location with easy access to major tourist attractions, beaches, shopping centres, cinemas, and sporting clubs.

The Greenfield’s Mt Pleasant Shopping Centre and Birch, Carroll and Coyle Cinemas are only a five minute walk from the motel, and one of the regions premiere sporting clubs – Magpies, is a three minute stroll through an attractive park, allowing guests the freedom to enjoy a lovely meal and a couple of drinks without having to worry about driving. The Mackay Golf Club and North Mackay Bowls Club are both within three to four kilometres as are the region’s beautiful Northern Beaches.

In the reception area you will find information on the regions local attractions like the Seasonal Sugar Mill tours that operate at Farleigh Sugar Mill, which is a 10 minute drive North on the Bruce Highway from the Motel.

The motel is a small family run business offering good old fashioned service and country hospitality, and with only 14 units ranging from Double, Twin, Queen, King and Family rooms all with under cover parking, guarantees personalised service. All rooms are three and a half star with pay television, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning, clock radio, facsimile modem point, hairdryers, iron and ironing boards and there are non smoking rooms available.
