Tradewinds McLeod Holiday Apartments, Cairns

Tradewinds McLeod Holiday Apartments are located an easy 20 minute stroll from the heart of Cairns City restaurants, shops and the Convention Centre is about a 30 minute walk. Dining, shopping, banking and postal facilities are within a few minutes walk, and being off the main road assures a minimum of traffic noise.

Free-of-charge transfers to and from Cairns Airport are available 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, and the poolside barbecue is a popular venue on balmy evenings. All apartments contain a fully equipped laundry, negating the need to send washing out. Of course the latter can be arranged should the guest prefer. Apartments are serviced weekly free of change, and a daily service at a small additional charge can be arranged with management should the guest desire. Although the area abounds with fine dining facilities, many guests choose to shop at nearby shops and supermarkets, and ‘eat in’.

The staff at the tour desk are happy to assist you in choosing and booking your activities whilst in Cairns. Tradewinds McLeod Holiday Apartments have arrangements with a wide variety of operators covering: Wildlife Parks, Tablelands tours, Daintree tours, Fishing trips (estuary, inlet, reef, big game) Hang gliding, Skydiving, Ballooning, Quad bike tours, Motorcycle tours, Helicopter and light aircraft flights, Scuba diving, Golf packages, Snorkelling, Horse riding tours, Food Trails, Rafting adventures, Kayaking to name a few. Most operators pick up and return to our doors.

If you want to go it alone and it is rental car you are looking for, they can arrange for a car of your choice to be delivered to you at their front office. They will also be happy to help you plan your touring route.
