Set on the point above Mission Beach, with unsurpassed views of Dunk Island and the Coral Sea, The Horizon Resort is in the midst of World Heritage Rainforest and National Park.

Mission Beach is located in the heart of Tropical North Queensland and easily accessible form Cairns; only 90 minutes drive south of the International Airport. Transfers are available by coach or guests can experience the picturesque journey by self-drive.

The 55 rooms and suites are spread through the rainforest and are linked by elevated timber boardwalks. The accommodation is private, spacious and offers ocean or rainforest views with private balcony or terrace. All rooms have a mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, free movie channel and air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans.

One of the main features of the resort is the spectacular swimming pool offering stunning views. There is direct access to the surrounding beaches by way of a short stroll through the rainforest. Facilities include a tennis court, restaurant, bar, gift shop and room service. A daily activities schedule and tour booking facilities are also available to guests.
