Mungalli Falls Student Village & Wilderness Retreat, Atherton Tablelands

Mungalli Falls is approximately two hours drive from Cairns, situated on the Atherton Tablelands. The journey leads to spectacular lookouts, waterfalls, lakes, national parks, rainforests, agricultural lands, sugar cane, tropical fruit plantations and charming small towns rich in arts and crafts, music and festivals.

The cool, mountain fresh climate of the tropical plateau at 600 to 1000 meters above sea level, offers a gentle and relaxed atmosphere throughout the year. Nestled amongst 220 hectares of green pastures, manicured lawns and tropical rainforest bordering on the Bellenden Kerr/Wooroonooran National Park. Mungalli Falls is a key location on the Tablelands and is the largest accommodation centre in this area. Mungalli Falls specialises in student and corporate groups.

Mungalli Falls offers a variety of activities including: Aboriginal dancing, abseiling, archery, Australian bush dance, boomerang throwing, bush walk & environmental study, camp fire circle, crocodile farm, dairy farm experience, horse riding, land sliding, night safari, obstacle course, orienteering, platypus viewing, river kayaking, swimming, Tableland tour, teambuilding, tubing, gold panning, rock hopping and Waterfall tours.

They have recently introduced evening glow worm tours and morning breakfast tours. At present these tours are targeted solely to the group market, however these tours are proving extremely popular and as such they endeavour to release an Free Independent Travel schedule in the near future for these tours.

Your itinerary at Mungalli Falls will be tailor-made before the arrival of the group depending on the choice of the activities made, the length of the stay and the number of participants. Mungalli Falls offers a seven day standard itinerary with lessons in the morning and activities in the afternoon. The itinerary is flexible to changes in content and length to meet your specific requirements.
