The unique interior rainforest atrium is designed to represent a mini rainforest with tropical plants, rock pools and features our famous resident barramundi fish.

Atriums Seafood Grill Restaurant is famous for its Seafood Buffet and international cuisine. There is also a relaxing Lobby Bar. The Liquor Store offers a wide variety of Australian and imported wines and beers. Room service is available 24 hours.

The function rooms – Lakefield, Dunbar, Merluna and Koolburra rooms – are named after the original north Queensland homesteads. Catering is available for a function of up to 230 people.

Leisure facilities include a large salt water outdoor swimming pool, children’s wading pool and heated spa, spacious sundeck and fitness centre. In addition, there is also a Tour Desk and Gift Shop located in the lobby area.

Holiday Inn Cairns is the perfect place to experience all the tropical north has to offer, from the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef to the Daintree Rainforest.

Both the International and Domestic Airports are only 10 minutes drive from the hotel and transfers are available through Australia Coach Service.
