Mission Beach Resort, Mission Beach

Situated midway between Cairns and Townsville, right opposite Dunk Island, Mission Beach is a place where Cassowaries have right of way and the living is easy. Mission Beach Resort is a tropical paradise where you can enjoy space and privacy.

Surrounded by National Parks and the Great Barrier Reef, the only high rises you see are the unique Licuala fan palms and large tracts of lowland rainforest, home to countless species of rare flora and fauna. For the more adventurous, Mission Beach Resort offers a wide range of activities and entertainment including 14 kilometres of unspoilt beaches, reef trips, island hopping, white water rafting and skydiving. Rainforest walks can only be disturbed by the unique Cassowary or the beautiful Ulysses butterfly.

All rooms are air-conditioned and have private patios stepping out onto one of four landscaped pool areas. Information on local tours and attractions can be found in reception.

Pristine wilderness without a single footprint in sight, the sparkle of cosmopolitan high rise on the waters edge, the adrenalin pumping roar of a powerful surf beach, or quite simply the perfect white squeaky sand that squelches between your toes.
