Sails On Horseshoe, Magnetic Island

Sails on Horseshoe provides luxury, four and a half star beachfront accommodation designed with guest comfort in mind. The spacious one and two bedroom apartments are fully air-conditioned and self-contained.

Pool, spa and barbecue are provided for guest’s enjoyment. On-site management ensures that guest’s needs are promptly addressed.

As the name suggests, Sails on Horseshoe is located on beautiful Horseshoe Bay, the largest and most northerly of the Island’s 23 bays.

Magnetic Island is eight kilometres north east from the city of Townsville. It is accessible by either the ‘Sunferries’ passenger ferry service which takes only 25 minutes, or if doing a driving holiday bring your vehicle via the ‘Passenger and Car Ferry’ which takes a little longer, 45 minutes.

When arriving at the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal on Magnetic Island, board the Magnetic Island Bus Service for the seven kilometre scenic drive to Horseshoe Bay, and then stroll the 150 metres to Sails on Horseshoe. Alternatively for a little extra, taxis are available at the Ferry Terminal to provide door to door service.

Sails on Horseshoe has within easy reach, all that is desirable for the discerning traveller – 20 metres from the beach and 100 metres to shops, restaurants, tavern and a variety of water sports.
