Woomera Travellers Village, Woomera

Woomera is world renowned for its rocket launches during the 1950s and 1960s and possibly in the very near future. Local attractions include the Heritage Centre, Breen Park and the Eldo Hotel. It is an ideal stopover on your trip to Coober Pedy and Alice Springs. Accommodation is available in 36 backpacker rooms with either air conditioning or ceiling fan. Five ensuite (motel style) rooms, two self contained ensuite park cabins, four self contained budget cabins and an Atco self contained cabin with separate master bedroom. There are 30 powered caravan sites with sullage and drinking water, six without sullage or water and four grassed areas suitable for coaches and campers.
