Woomera is world renowned for its rocket launches during the 1950s and 1960s and possibly in the very near future. Local attractions include the Heritage Centre, Breen Park and the Eldo Hotel. There are 30 powered caravan sites with sullage and drinking water, six without sullage or water and four grassed areas suitable for coaches and campers.
