High Gate is a self contained contemporary country retreat completed in early 2002. Beautifully located on a hill with panoramic views over the Clare Valley, Jim Barry vineyards and adjacent to the Clare Valley golf course. The retreat has mature gum trees, a small vineyard of table grapes, an orchard and rose garden for guests to enjoy. The spacious open plan with outdoor timber decking enables you to relax and take in scenic views of birdlife and vineyard activity. Play golf next door or stroll to Jim Barry’s cellar door for wine tasting. Experience the sunsets and the valley going to sleep as you sip a Clare Valley wine.
