Currawong Holiday Home, Penneshaw

Currawong is a high quality architecturally designed holiday home in a secluded location on the eastern side of Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island. The house is solid brick construction, and it’s elevated location provides stunning sea views over Penneshaw Beach, Hog Bay and across Backstairs Passage to the mainland. The home features three large bedrooms, two with queen size beds and a very large open plan living area. It also features a study and a modern well appointed kitchen. The house exudes a peaceful and restful atmosphere and features reverse cycle air conditioning and a slow combustion wood fire. A spacious deck and barbecue provides an ideal setting for outdoor dining. The house is located close to bushland and an added attraction of the area is the abundant bird life, which includes Little Penguins.
