The Homestead, a truly Australian cottage built in 1928, nestles in its own valley located in the scenic Barossa Ranges, only minutes from Barossa wineries, food and attractions. Jacob’s Creek, which borders the property, features huge River Red Gums, providing home for an abundance of native birds. Nearby are unsurpassed views over the Barossa to the coast and across the hilltops.
Verandas surrounding four sides of the cottage encourage alfresco dining in all types of weather, while double windows and French doors provide garden views from indoors. In the lounge, leather armchairs invite relaxing in front of the open wood fire. A luxury two person spa and separate shower in the bathroom, small laundry facility and fully equipped kitchen are great for short or longer stays.
Sole occupancy for a couple gives choice of the grand wrought iron four poster or Edwardian Oak queen size beds, while two couples holidaying together can be comfortably accommodated. Also suitable for families.
